Bushwick Open Studios June 4-6 2010.... It's a really cool concept "Now in it's fourth year, Bushwick Open Studios is an exciting opportunity for artist to experiment outside the standard concept of sales and space competition."

I have been a fan of Delphine's collage work since I saw it in Clam and Trace Magazine. It was great to see it today in person in her space, and to hear her inspiration behind the work.

I love the coffee and breakfast at this spot. It's very old school, and I love to hang out and watch the staff, they all have a style and grace about them, reminds me of the Dresden Room in LA. They let me hang out and snap while I wait for my food.

Nic and Fabian know their way around the kitchen, and whipped up some Proper meals for all of us that I will miss very much. It was the first time I actually had a tear in my eye leaving Jamaica, good people, good vibes, and good food.

There was a lot going on the Park on the corner today.... Jazz, basketball, bbq, mad people and astroturf gymnastics.....

We were in the park surrounded by families, picnics, music, food, games, and laughter. I saw a group of young men forming a line. As I watched I thought a game was about to begin. I looked away continuing my conversation, glancing back to see this moment..... again so glad i had my camera!

Today

Incredible bike ride today! I rode to the park with my girls to meet their friend (since 1st grade) and her Mom (who i actually like to talk to). We ran into another friend and her son while chilling on the grass and completely enjoying the day! Looking forward to more days like this.
